Windshield is a glazed panel on your Nissan and forms part of the structural shell as well as the weather seal. Genuine Nissan part number 72712-9HP1A.
Glass fails by chipping, cracking or delaminating at the edge, and once a crack reaches the edge it will not stop growing with temperature cycling. Confirm whether the glass is fixed or movable; the two use different bonding and different channels.
Urethane-bonded glazing requires a professional installer with the correct primer and adhesive.
