Hose Assembly Windshield is the fixed or moving glazing on the Kia that keeps water out and the cabin quiet. Genuine Kia part number 98660-3W300-DS.
Glass fails by chipping, cracking or delaminating at the edge, and once a crack reaches the edge it will not stop growing with temperature cycling. Fits 2011-2016 Kia Sportage as listed. Glazing is body-style and option specific — check for rain sensors, heated zones, acoustic laminate and antennae in the glass.
Allow the adhesive to cure before driving; most specifications call for an overnight set.
