Movable Glass closes an opening in the Kia body and, on modern cars, contributes to the stiffness of the shell. Genuine Kia part number 82420-DW010.
Glass fails by chipping, cracking or delaminating at the edge, and once a crack reaches the edge it will not stop growing with temperature cycling. Confirm whether the glass is fixed or movable; the two use different bonding and different channels.
Allow the adhesive to cure before driving; most specifications call for an overnight set.
Fixed Glass Movable Glass replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
