Fixed glass covers the bonded panes that do not move: vent glass, fixed quarter windows and the small panes some body styles carry. The seal, not the glass, is the part that usually needs attention first, and a bonded pane should be fitted with fresh urethane and primer rather than reused adhesive. Check the surrounding mouldings at the same time, since they are what keep water out of the cavity behind the glass.
