Hood is part of the hood assembly on your Mazda, either the panel itself or the hardware that holds and latches it. Genuine Mazda part number lb8252310k.
A hood that will not stay up or will not release is a safety item, not just a convenience one. Fits 1996-1998 Mazda MPV as listed. Hoods are body-style and model-year specific; a facelift usually changes the panel shape.
Align the panel at the hinges and the latch before paint so the gaps are set on bare metal.
Hoods Hood replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
