Window Trim Tape closes an opening in the Volvo body and, on modern cars, contributes to the stiffness of the shell. Genuine Volvo part number 31393809.
Regulator or channel wear cracks the glass at the mounting points, so a replacement glass should always be checked against a worn mechanism. Glazing is body-style and option specific — check for rain sensors, heated zones, acoustic laminate and antennae in the glass.
Urethane-bonded glazing requires a professional installer with the correct primer and adhesive.
Fixed Glass Window Trim Tape replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
