Lift Gate Glass Spacer closes an opening in the Mazda body and, on modern cars, contributes to the stiffness of the shell. Genuine Mazda part number kb7w50896.
Glass fails by chipping, cracking or delaminating at the edge, and once a crack reaches the edge it will not stop growing with temperature cycling. Confirm whether the glass is fixed or movable; the two use different bonding and different channels.
Urethane-bonded glazing requires a professional installer with the correct primer and adhesive.
Fixed Glass Lift Gate Glass Spacer replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
