Windshield Spacer is the fixed or moving glazing on the Volvo that keeps water out and the cabin quiet. Genuine Volvo part number 31651607.
The bonded seal is what keeps water out; a seal that has lifted shows up as damp carpets or wind noise rather than a visible leak. Glazing is body-style and option specific — check for rain sensors, heated zones, acoustic laminate and antennae in the glass.
Urethane-bonded glazing requires a professional installer with the correct primer and adhesive.
