Windshield Spacer closes an opening in the Kia body and, on modern cars, contributes to the stiffness of the shell. Genuine Kia part number 86127-2D000.
The bonded seal is what keeps water out; a seal that has lifted shows up as damp carpets or wind noise rather than a visible leak. Match the model year: a facelift can change the glass silhouette while the door shell stays the same.
Check the surrounding trim and clips at the same time, as they are usually renewed with the glass.
Windshields Windshield Spacer replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
