Windshield closes an opening in the Nissan body and, on modern cars, contributes to the stiffness of the shell. Genuine Nissan part number 72700-6RR3C.
Glass fails by chipping, cracking or delaminating at the edge, and once a crack reaches the edge it will not stop growing with temperature cycling. Glazing is body-style and option specific — check for rain sensors, heated zones, acoustic laminate and antennae in the glass.
Check the surrounding trim and clips at the same time, as they are usually renewed with the glass.
Windshields Windshield replacement for Nissan. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
