Windshield Header closes an opening in the Mazda body and, on modern cars, contributes to the stiffness of the shell. Genuine Mazda part number dn4e70640.
The bonded seal is what keeps water out; a seal that has lifted shows up as damp carpets or wind noise rather than a visible leak. Confirm whether the glass is fixed or movable; the two use different bonding and different channels.
Check the surrounding trim and clips at the same time, as they are usually renewed with the glass.
