Windshield Header closes an opening in the Kia body and, on modern cars, contributes to the stiffness of the shell. Genuine Kia part number 67121-F6050.
The bonded seal is what keeps water out; a seal that has lifted shows up as damp carpets or wind noise rather than a visible leak. Match the model year: a facelift can change the glass silhouette while the door shell stays the same.
Allow the adhesive to cure before driving; most specifications call for an overnight set.
