Regulator or channel wear cracks the glass at the mounting points, so a replacement glass should always be checked against a worn mechanism. Confirm whether the glass is fixed or movable; the two use different bonding and different channels.
Check the surrounding trim and clips at the same time, as they are usually renewed with the glass.
