Vent Window Assembly closes an opening in the Volvo body and, on modern cars, contributes to the stiffness of the shell. Genuine Volvo part number 32368705.
Glass fails by chipping, cracking or delaminating at the edge, and once a crack reaches the edge it will not stop growing with temperature cycling. Glazing is body-style and option specific — check for rain sensors, heated zones, acoustic laminate and antennae in the glass.
Urethane-bonded glazing requires a professional installer with the correct primer and adhesive.
