Stay Lock Hood sits at the front of the Mazda and is directly exposed to stone strikes, heat cycling and weather. Genuine Mazda part number B4555335YA.
Hoods take stone chips and heat cycling, so corrosion starts at the leading edge and around the latch long before it is visible from outside. Confirm the hinge type before ordering hardware, as the two generations do not interchange.
Apply cavity wax inside the hood frame after fitting to slow corrosion.
Hoods Stay Lock Hood replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
