Side Molding sits on the Volvo body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Volvo part number 39846016.

UV exposure dulls the original finish and the mounting channel cracks, which is why a trim strip that is still attached can look sun-bleached and pitted. Trim is side-specific — a left-hand strip will not fit the right-hand side of the same car. Confirm the side before ordering.
