Outer Molding sits on the Kia body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Kia part number 86596-XG100.
The clips fatigue and the adhesive-backed tape lifts at the ends, so the strip works loose and starts to flap at speed. Length and clip spacing differ between sedan, hatch and wagon bodies even where the model name is the same.
Pre-fit the strip dry before removing the adhesive backing so the end gaps line up.
