Hood Molding is the exterior trim strip on the Mazda that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Mazda part number ec01507e0a.

Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Fits 2001-2006 Mazda Tribute as listed. Trim is side-specific — a left-hand strip will not fit the right-hand side of the same car. Confirm the side before ordering.

Pre-fit the strip dry before removing the adhesive backing so the end gaps line up.
