Movable Glass closes an opening in the Volvo body and, on modern cars, contributes to the stiffness of the shell. Genuine Volvo part number 31385422.
The bonded seal is what keeps water out; a seal that has lifted shows up as damp carpets or wind noise rather than a visible leak. Glazing is body-style and option specific — check for rain sensors, heated zones, acoustic laminate and antennae in the glass.
Allow the adhesive to cure before driving; most specifications call for an overnight set.
Fixed Glass Movable Glass replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
