Mirror Base – Driver’s Side (LH) forms part of the exterior mirror on the Volvo and either carries the glass or houses the mirror mechanism. Genuine Volvo part number 31477671. This listing is for the left-hand (driver side on US models) part.
The mirror folds on a spring detent that wears out, which shows up as a housing that will not stay folded or will not lock back into place. A mirror with a turn-signal repeater has a different wiring connector from a plain one, even though the housing looks the same.
Test the adjustment and fold functions before refitting the door trim.
