Meter Hood is a hood-area component on the Kia that keeps the hood aligned, closed or supported. Genuine Kia part number 84830-3F000ML.
Hoods take stone chips and heat cycling, so corrosion starts at the leading edge and around the latch long before it is visible from outside. Confirm the hinge type before ordering hardware, as the two generations do not interchange.
Apply cavity wax inside the hood frame after fitting to slow corrosion.
Hoods Meter Hood replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
