Lock Hood is a hood-area component on the Mazda that keeps the hood aligned, closed or supported. Genuine Mazda part number LA0156620F.
Hoods take stone chips and heat cycling, so corrosion starts at the leading edge and around the latch long before it is visible from outside. Confirm the hinge type before ordering hardware, as the two generations do not interchange.
Align the panel at the hinges and the latch before paint so the gaps are set on bare metal.
Hoods Lock Hood replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
