Latch Assembly is part of the door assembly on your Kia and carries load every time the door is opened, closed or locked. Genuine Kia part number 89390-Q5000.
Water ingress past a failed seal corrodes the internal linkage, which is why the symptom appears suddenly after a wet season. Front and rear doors use different part numbers even when the handle or hinge looks identical.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
Door Latches Latch Assembly replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
