Hood Release Cable Grommet is part of the hood assembly on your Volvo, either the panel itself or the hardware that holds and latches it. Genuine Volvo part number 30716841.
Latch and hinge wear shows up as a hood that sits high on one side, needs a drop to close, or vibrates at speed. Confirm the hinge type before ordering hardware, as the two generations do not interchange.
Align the panel at the hinges and the latch before paint so the gaps are set on bare metal.
