Hood Meter is a hood-area component on the Mazda that keeps the hood aligned, closed or supported. Genuine Mazda part number GK2A55420C.
Latch and hinge wear shows up as a hood that sits high on one side, needs a drop to close, or vibrates at speed. Check whether the original has hood-vent cut-outs, insulation mounts or a scoop provision.
Align the panel at the hinges and the latch before paint so the gaps are set on bare metal.
Hoods Hood Meter replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
