Hood Lock – Mazda (gj2256620d)

Hood Lock is part of the hood assembly on your Mazda, either the panel itself or the hardware that holds and latches it. Genuine Mazda part number gj2256620d.

Latch and hinge wear shows up as a hood that sits high on one side, needs a drop to close, or vibrates at speed. Hoods are body-style and model-year specific; a facelift usually changes the panel shape.

Align the panel at the hinges and the latch before paint so the gaps are set on bare metal.
