Hood Insulation Pad – Mazda (dgh956681)

Hood Insulation Pad is a hood-area component on the Mazda that keeps the hood aligned, closed or supported. Genuine Mazda part number dgh956681.

Hoods take stone chips and heat cycling, so corrosion starts at the leading edge and around the latch long before it is visible from outside. Check whether the original has hood-vent cut-outs, insulation mounts or a scoop provision.

Apply cavity wax inside the hood frame after fitting to slow corrosion.
