Hood Cushion is a hood-area component on the Kia that keeps the hood aligned, closed or supported. Genuine Kia part number 0K018-56785.
A hood that will not stay up or will not release is a safety item, not just a convenience one. Hoods are body-style and model-year specific; a facelift usually changes the panel shape.
Align the panel at the hinges and the latch before paint so the gaps are set on bare metal.
Hoods Hood Cushion replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
