Headliner sits in the roof of the Volvo and is one of the parts that suffers first from water ingress. Genuine Volvo part number 39864804.
Sunroof drains block and the water finds the headliner, so a stained headliner usually points at a drain or seal rather than the roof panel itself. Check whether the car has a panoramic roof, a sliding roof or a fixed panel — the parts do not interchange.
Sunroof mechanisms should be re-initialised after fitting so the one-touch and anti-pinch functions work.
Headliners Headliner replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
