Handle Base is a body-side fitting on the Kia — small, inexpensive, and usually the reason a larger panel will not sit flush. Genuine Kia part number 83655-L2000.
Original fittings become brittle with age and heat cycles, which is why a clip that held for ten years snaps the first time it is disturbed. Check quantity on the listing: some fittings are sold individually and a full panel needs several.
Order the surrounding clips at the same time, since the originals generally break when the panel is removed.
Interior Hardware Handle Base replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
