Fixed Glass closes an opening in the Kia body and, on modern cars, contributes to the stiffness of the shell. Genuine Kia part number 82440-L2500.
Glass fails by chipping, cracking or delaminating at the edge, and once a crack reaches the edge it will not stop growing with temperature cycling. Glazing is body-style and option specific — check for rain sensors, heated zones, acoustic laminate and antennae in the glass.
Allow the adhesive to cure before driving; most specifications call for an overnight set.
Fixed Glass Fixed Glass replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
