Door Pillar Post Trim Set is the exterior trim strip on the Mazda that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Mazda part number dgh968190a02.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.
Supplied ready to fit; the original clips are usually brittle and should be renewed at the same time.
Trim Door Pillar Post Trim Set replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
