Back Glass closes an opening in the Volvo body and, on modern cars, contributes to the stiffness of the shell. Genuine Volvo part number 30779645.
Glass fails by chipping, cracking or delaminating at the edge, and once a crack reaches the edge it will not stop growing with temperature cycling. Confirm whether the glass is fixed or movable; the two use different bonding and different channels.
Check the surrounding trim and clips at the same time, as they are usually renewed with the glass.
Back Glass Back Glass replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
