Back glass carries the heated element on most models and, on older cars, the radio aerial — both of which change the part number. A rear screen that will not demist is usually a broken element trace rather than glass damage, so check the continuity at the connector before ordering. Bonded rear screens need fresh urethane and a proper cure time, and the surrounding trim clips are generally replaced at the same time.
