Assist Strap Front Bracket is a body fitting on the Kia that the exterior panels and trim depend on to stay located. Genuine Kia part number 85332-2G000.
Once the fitting fails the surrounding parts work loose and start to chafe, so replacing the small part early prevents damage to the panel it holds. Fits 2006-2010 Kia Optima as listed. Confirm the model and year range on the listing; the same fitting is often used across several models but not across every year.
Do not over-torque these fittings — the plastic or thin-gauge body panel strips before the fitting does.
Body Brackets Assist Strap Front Bracket replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
