Windshield Post Trim runs along the body side of your Volvo, protecting the door and quarter panels from trolley dings and closing the gap between panels. Genuine Volvo part number 31217948.

Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Trim is side-specific — a left-hand strip will not fit the right-hand side of the same car. Confirm the side before ordering.

If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
