Windshield Pillar Trim Retainer is an interior cabin panel on the Volvo that covers the door frame and carries the switchgear, speaker or handle. Genuine Volvo part number 31457329.
Sun exposure through the glass makes the plastic brittle and shrinks the vinyl, which is why the top edge lifts and the clip towers crack. Confirm the body style: a wagon quarter trim shares nothing with the sedan.
Order the panel clips with the trim — the originals almost always break on removal.
