Window Molding – Driver’s Side (LH) – Volvo (31479457)

Window Molding – Driver’s Side (LH) is the exterior trim strip on the Volvo that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Volvo part number 31479457. This listing is for the left-hand (driver side on US models) part.

Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.

Pre-fit the strip dry before removing the adhesive backing so the end gaps line up.
