Wheel Opening Molding is the exterior trim strip on the Mazda that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Mazda part number KJK8-51-W20B-SZ.
The clips fatigue and the adhesive-backed tape lifts at the ends, so the strip works loose and starts to flap at speed. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.
Supplied ready to fit; the original clips are usually brittle and should be renewed at the same time.
