Valance Panel is one of the small body fittings on your Volvo that hold trim, panels and seals in place. Genuine Volvo part number 31353571.
Original fittings become brittle with age and heat cycles, which is why a clip that held for ten years snaps the first time it is disturbed. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
No finishing required; fit directly.
Panels & Extensions Valance Panel replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
