Valance Panel is one of the small body fittings on your Volvo that hold trim, panels and seals in place. Genuine Volvo part number 31353302.
These parts are consumed rather than repaired: they break on removal, corrode, or lose their grip and let the panel they retain move. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
Order the surrounding clips at the same time, since the originals generally break when the panel is removed.
Panels & Extensions Valance Panel replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
