Valance Panel is one of the small body fittings on your Kia that hold trim, panels and seals in place. Genuine Kia part number 86550-D9000.
Once the fitting fails the surrounding parts work loose and start to chafe, so replacing the small part early prevents damage to the panel it holds. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
Do not over-torque these fittings — the plastic or thin-gauge body panel strips before the fitting does.
Panels & Extensions Valance Panel replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
