Upper Molding – Passenger Side (RH) – Volvo (39974779)

Upper Molding – Passenger Side (RH) is the exterior trim strip on the Volvo that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Volvo part number 39974779. This listing is for the right-hand (passenger side on US models) part.

UV exposure dulls the original finish and the mounting channel cracks, which is why a trim strip that is still attached can look sun-bleached and pitted. Length and clip spacing differ between sedan, hatch and wagon bodies even where the model name is the same.

If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
