Upper Molding is the exterior trim strip on the Mazda that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Mazda part number zzl150025.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Fits 1991-1994 Mazda Navajo as listed. Length and clip spacing differ between sedan, hatch and wagon bodies even where the model name is the same.
If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
