Upper Molding runs along the body side of your Mazda, protecting the door and quarter panels from trolley dings and closing the gap between panels. Genuine Mazda part number DGH9-50-810A-2V.
The clips fatigue and the adhesive-backed tape lifts at the ends, so the strip works loose and starts to flap at speed. Trim is side-specific — a left-hand strip will not fit the right-hand side of the same car. Confirm the side before ordering.
If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
