Upper Hinge Nut is one of the small body fittings on your Nissan that hold trim, panels and seals in place. Genuine Nissan part number 01221-N8011.
Once the fitting fails the surrounding parts work loose and start to chafe, so replacing the small part early prevents damage to the panel it holds. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
No finishing required; fit directly.
