Upper Hinge mounts inside the Kia door shell and takes the wear that repeated use puts on the door. Genuine Kia part number 79420-2G000.
Broken returns springs, stretched cables and worn pivots show up as a handle with no resistance or a door that needs a slam. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
No paint required; the part mounts behind the door trim panel.
Door Hinges Upper Hinge replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
