Upper Hinge mounts inside the Kia door shell and takes the wear that repeated use puts on the door. Genuine Kia part number 79320-2K000.
Water ingress past a failed seal corrodes the internal linkage, which is why the symptom appears suddenly after a wet season. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
Check the door alignment after fitting, as a worn part often masks a hinge that also needs adjustment.
Door Hinges Upper Hinge replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
