Upper Hinge is part of the door assembly on your Kia and carries load every time the door is opened, closed or locked. Genuine Kia part number 79310-1E200.
Water ingress past a failed seal corrodes the internal linkage, which is why the symptom appears suddenly after a wet season. Fits 2010-2013 Kia Forte Koup as listed. Door hardware is handed — left and right are different parts. Check the side marked on the listing against the door you are repairing.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
Door Hinges Upper Hinge replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
