Trim Molding is the exterior trim strip on the Volvo that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Volvo part number 32401802.
The clips fatigue and the adhesive-backed tape lifts at the ends, so the strip works loose and starts to flap at speed. Trim is side-specific — a left-hand strip will not fit the right-hand side of the same car. Confirm the side before ordering.
If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
